Horseshoe Bend Stargazing

I arrived at Horseshoe Bend at 2am. Driving from Phoenix Arizona made my eyes pretty burnt out and I thought I was going to want to fall asleep as soon as I arrived at the Horseshoe Bend Parking Lot. 

I told my girlfriend I was just going to take a few photos and then fall asleep. I ended up shooting for over 3 hours until I looked at my watch and realized I needed to get some sleep if I was going to shoot antelope canyon that day. 

I was able to capture the night sky and horseshoe bend at 2 different exposures and blend them together in post to create this composition.
